i just dont love it. Feels boring and not well designed. I want a rug but ifk how id place it with this layout. I need a comfy office chair too. Idk km opening to just starting over too but curious what youd suggest.
Turn the bed to face the window so you can fit a nightstand, and free up that corner a bit?

You don’t really need a rug with all that carpet.
Maybe swich the art by one larger and put it above the bed.
If the desk could be skinier, that way it wont be so close to the bed – it’s better when the nightstand is the same height than the bed.

I would center the bed and add two nightstands/chest of drawers with ample storage. Then put an area rug in that zone under the bed. You might be able to add a bench or some smaller accent chairs at the foot of the bed. I’d look into getting some good quality bedding as well to elevate the space even more. Put the desk over where the small dresser is. The dresser is really pretty. I’m not sure if there’s another spot in your home for it, but it could look nice in an entry way.
