AI generated images of a fitting I want in my hallway. Can't decide between black or gold. I like the gold as it's warmer and goes with the gold mirror and warmer bathroom wood. But the black might be more modern. In real life the fittings are exactly the same size. What do you think?

The second one reads much darker and colder than the first. So I’d definitely choose the first as it makes the whole space read larger / warmer / brighter!

If you’re leaving the hallway as is, then gold. If you plan on adding a console table with some decor under that mirror then black could work if your decor is also tying in some black. Both are good options, just depends on how/if you’re decorating the hallway
Check out Ikea SOLKLINT ceiling lamp, it’s a bit between both. This is obviously during the day but it looks really nice at night.
