I need help with our living room! I feel like it’s such an awkward length and width, plus there are two entry doors so furniture lay out is basically what it is. We JUST got the furniture so it’ll all stay (except I would like a new coffee table).
I have a very small budget. I can save up some money for a rug and new throw pillows, and some wall art. I got the end tables as a temporary thing so I’d be willing to get new ones. Also the lighting is awful. I want to get floor lamps, but where do I put them?
The last picture, under the window, I have been thinking about getting a desk with chair but will it look awkward next to the love seat? Or 2nd picture, desk where the gray dog bed is.
I’d really love two chairs and a table in the middle instead of the love seat, but my kids lay on the love seat so it would take away that for them.
I do have curtains we took them down 6 years to paint and never put them back up lol. Much like the rest of this house!
I know the chair is too large for the space but my
Husband loves the chair so it stays.
Anyway. I’m awful

Haha 😄 yeah, definitely AI — but guided by real design logic.
I just applied the same principles I use in real spaces: scale, layering, warmth, and balance. The room already had great bones, it just needed the right moves.
