I have a horrible feeling it's past its prime, it's got all the notes I'm looking for in the nose, but it's weak on the mouth. Does anyone have experience with it? Anything I should be looking for in the profile?

  1. Tried the 2019 this week it was “horrible”. No smell barely any taste. Seemed very closed with not much more potential. It was La Chatenière though.

En Remilly (and many Saint-Aubin 1er crus) is built around acidity and mineral tension rather than plush mid-palate weight. So I would expect chalky/stony, saline elements in the mouth rather than overtly lush fruit.

Also check through the tasting notes [here](https://go.cellartracker.com/wine/1874060)

How long was it open for? While there is ALWAYS the possibility it’s shot, “weak” doesn’t fit that profile. Could be just dead but sounds like more time would allow for more definition to accrue.
