This is my first place I have enough space to really decorate. My apartment now has a white/gray kitchen and my furniture is (mostly) black. Very modern. So with my new kitchen having darker brown cabinets, and the trim being a darker gray I’m thinking I want to avoid a lot of black, so the room doesn’t feel so dark.
I attached a picture of the couch I got (which looks more yellow but is actually like a cream/tan color) and the TV stand I’m thinking of getting.
I want a very cozy vibe. I just don’t know what kind of color pallet to go with, what to avoid, etc. Any advice is good advice 😵💫 Of course I also want to get a rug and bar stools. Not sure if black would be okay for barstools.
Suggestions, advice, anything is helpful cause I know nothing about any of it 😂
