I got my new rug, and I LOVE it!! I am now trying to figure out placement of art, my divider, and bookshelf.
What looks best, the bookshelf against the back wall or the room divider on the back wall (i just moved them, so it isn't centered or styled — just looking for advice on placement right now)? There is about 7' of space between the back wall and the back of my couch
My desk is in the corner, so I would like it hidden so it isn't fully visible when you walk into my living room.
With the bookshelf right behind the couch, it gives me more natural light in my office area and I can see out the window & the tv from my desk!
With the divider behind the couch, the gold looks really beautiful with the light hitting it! It does block a lot of light, so my desk area is pretty dark & I can't put plants on the book shelf due to the blocking of light.
