Currently looking at two carpets for my home office, I want it to look and feel more warm and inviting which it currently doesn't.
The first carpet is a frieze shaggy style carpet which is really nice but its polyester and I've heard some but things about longevity and going flat etc

The second carpet is more expensive but is 80/20 wool, nylon. It's really soft but not thick and not long pile like the other which I did like, still a really nice carpet though.

Not sure if it's worth getting wool, this brand has a 100% nylon option which is probably just as nice
Which would be the smarter purchase ? I am thinking I could just get a shaggy rug and a normal carpet which might be a better choice.
