Hey everyone! I’m turning my home office into a nursery for my daughter, and I’m looking for some advice. The room has a navy blue fluffy carpet and light grey walls, and we’re not planning to remove the carpet for now. I would love to make the space feel more girly, leaning towards a pink-ish theme for her.
Any tips on how I can work around the carpet and still achieve a soft, feminine look? I’m open to ideas on decor, colors, and accessories that can balance the navy blue carpet with a more delicate vibe. Thanks in advance!

I would layer another rug on top with pastel colors.
Navy, ivory and yellow/gold would be gorgeous together. Think ivory crib and furniture, yellow and navy decor, with gold accents. A wallpaper with a foiled gold motif is something to consider as well.
Palette wise I think using a grayed purple to transition to the pops of pink would be nice. So if you were to have furniture a dusty purple would make it so you could do decor with bits of bright pink and I’d do gold hardware/ frames to pull the warmth from the pink. But it totally depends on your aesthetic and mood you’re going for, like are you looking for bright and whimsical, kitschy/eclectic, dreamy and muted? I’m all about the kitsch so “cow jumped over the moon” theme, with yellow moons and stars, little porcelain cows with pink blushed cheeks and pink satin accents in the blankets and pillows would be so cute imo.
Maybe a piece of art to bring the colors together with navy and pink in it
