This is my mom’s fireplace. We live in a desert where it never drops below 60° so it’s never used and I have no idea why it was put in in the first place. The early 90s were a different time I suppose 😅
Anywayyyy we’re having it cleaned for health reasons and I think I could convince her to change up the look. She honestly hates this space except for the mantle (second photo is mantle appreciation lol, she does a good job).
So yeah, it’s not in use and won’t be closed up but it needs a facelift of some kind. Any thoughts? 🩷
