where to put a couch??

i recently downsized apartments and having trouble deciding where to put a couch (i haven’t bought one yet, but prefer the L type chaise couches if possible).

if i put it all the way against the back wall, i feel like that is too far from the tv.
i debated moving my kitchen table to that back wall area maybe and putting a couch against it? the options are not the best which is why i need help.

for those who suggest it- if i swap the tv to the back wall, and put my couch where the tv stand is, i think it would end up blocking my bedroom door and also might be weird with the way the kitchen table is right now too.

any ideas are much appreciated 🙂
