Feeling slightly empty, what else can I do aside from hanging something on the wall?

In the midst of decorating my home. I was wondering what would look best on this bare wall, a framed painting, a coloured feature wall or a large mural? Also, I want this room to have a little more depth in terms of features and decorations. Any suggestions would be welcome, thank you!
