Downstairs bathroom was an eyesore when I moved into the house, decided to redo it and make it to wear I actually WANTED to use it. Cost me less than $1500, all DIY.

Look great! What did you do to the ceiling?

Is that an outdoor rug? I would have never thought to use one in the bathroom.

That looks amazing! How long did it take you

Absolutely gorgeous and I’m in love with the ceiling.

Hmm, maybe I do have the money to makeover my bathroom!

You certainly maximized the use of space. Are those cupboard/cabinet doors on the ceiling? Love the rug.

Tell us what you used for ceiling 🙂 🙏🏻

What a bold ceiling choice! Your previous one looked like an office cubicle ceiling so the glow up is quite deserved!

Love it, the new vanity really made a huge difference

In the first photo, is that a full length mirror INSIDE the shower stall ??

That vanity area alone is such a huge upgrade. My biggest pet peeve is a vanity that is just a sink with no counter space. Love the arched mirror and matching black hardware.

Looks nice! Not sure about the rug right in front of the toilet, though.

Did you replace the shower stall or just deep clean the f out of it?

A vast improvement! Only thing I would do different is I’d leave out the large rug/carpeting and use some matching throw rugs in front of the sink and shower. Never been a fan of anything but flooring around a toilet. Love that vanity, wow!

Edit: Just looked closer and realized there’s probably not enough room for two rugs, so I’d just stick with your shower rug.

I love it! You’ll be much happier w a smaller toilet tank. I just got a kohler toilet from Home Depot that has the same squared off base. Highly recommend if yours needs replacing!

Hot damn, great job! Ditch the black rug and dry your feet before you step out.

What a FANTASTIC job you did!!

Could I just suggest that you consider getting *slightly* warmer bulbs for the lights? It’s a bit stark as it is
