Is white my only option? Help complimenting brick colour.

I always loved the idea of having a bright coloured front door and trim (nothing wild, but different enough for suburbia), but the colour of brick home we have is throwing me off. I don't see any other house in the neighborhood with this style / tone of brick. Am I best off with leaving window trim and such white?
