The current posts are rotting out and I need to replace them. No idea where to even begin. I've seen things that I like, but I don't feel my house really has any style distinct style. I can change the color of the brick facade, but unfortunately the pink door and shutters have to stay. I was thinking 6×6 posts, painted white, no railing, to keep it simple. I really love the look of stained wood, but I don't see a natural wood really fitting into the colors. Also, if I do 6×6 posts, to have a trim or not? Any design ideas/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
