Other than cleaning up the clutter, what do I do with this entry room?

This is the first room right when you walk into my house. I clearly have no idea what to do. The white brick is a hearth for a wood burning stove that was taken out before I bought the house. The brick was also painted before I bought the house.

Not attached to the coffee table either, just something I had and threw it there until I figure out what to do with it.
