Ruth Lewandowski – “Elimelech” Riesling. We started the night with this wine and I loved it. This bottle loves oxygen. The acidity was more tame and brought forward some excellent citrus notes.
Bergstrom Pinot Noir – this wine is absolutely fantastic. Oregon Pinot is one of my favorites so I might be biased, but this wine was stellar. Excellent cherry notes and other dark fruits. Tannin profile was perfect. I highly recommend this bottle.
Domaine de L’Octavin Mayga Gamay – absolute fruit bomb. I really enjoyed it. Thankfully, we did not experience any mouse. Super bright fruit dominates. I kept on thinking cranberry notes. Almost zero tannin, but in a good way.
Gustinella Jungimmune Bianco – WOW. My favorite wine of the night. This wine captures Etna Bianco like nothing I’ve ever tasted. Super mineral driven on the finish. Super crisp Stoney lemon notes. Absolute stunner.
Gut Oggau Winifred – we chose to finish the night on a strong note. This was my first time trying Winifred, and I personally enjoyed it. Sharp acidity, but the fruit notes were very enjoyable. Super easy to drink Rose.
