Had my mind blown last night by this lovely wine. Very hard to find here in Ohio but when I see it I grab it. Grenache and Mourvèdre with cold carbonic maceration. Bursting with cherry and spice on the nose. On the palate, this wine is certainly alive! Prickly acidity, almost a cherry cough syrup (in the best way) note on the finish. I had a bottle of this same vintage (2022) and it was a bit closed off but absolutely singing now. KM31 blew my socks off too last year. I’m a sucker for this style of wine, love Les Foulards Rouge as well. Any other producers of this style I should keep an eye on? P.S. it made my partner cry, truly an awakening wine experience for her.
