Charles DuFour "Bulles de Comptoir #11 Terrine et Jardin Extra Brut" 2021-amazing, fresh, energetic bubbles, soft notes of apple, lemon, brioche, so crisp, was a joy to drink
R. O'Neill Latta "m4c" 2023-delicious, muscat & cab sauv, chuggable, aromatic, tons of orange blossom, heavy on citrus but not too acidic, california in a glass
Ca' de Noci "Le Rose" 2022-incredible sparkling white wine, so light, refreshing, beautiful acidity, apricots, peaches, orange peel, perfect at sunset. MVP of the evening
Domaine Cousin Leduc "Partage" 2023-all my friends said "wow" when they sipped this. Very approachable, fruity, great acidity, awesome summer wine, would be great with rich cheeses and cured meats. 2nd MVP
La Vigne du Perron "Katapnha" 2020-as good as chardonnay gets, tons of minerality, not overly buttery, a bit herbaceous, yellow fruits, very fresh, got better as it opened up
Les Cigales dans la fourmiliere "Maree Basse" 2023- lovely crowdpleaser for a chilled red, sweet berries on the nose, acidic on the palate, bright and juicy.
Radikon "Rosso Sasa" RS20- lively, bright red fruit, very tart, some good funk on the nose, a bit of leather and tobacco, balsamic, great towards the end of the night
Maison Valette "Mâcon-Chaintre" 2021-maybe the wine I was most excited to try but was let down the most. Not that it was bad by any means but didnt stand out compared to the rest. Was also very tipsy at this point so would like to try again in a different context. Was still very good. Chardonnay, oaky, buttery, apricots, zingy acidity on the finish
