100% Chardonnay, vineyard located on the border of the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. In the village of Échevronne, not far from Pernand-Verglesses. 12 months in 228lt and/or 600lt barrels.
The nose opens slightly reduced, but fades after a while.
Citrus notes such as lime zest and candied lemon, yuzu (sauce). Wide hints of green apple, few hints tropical fruit.
Butter and lemon cream follow. Then nuts (peanut) and sesame, slight ginger. Medicinal herbs such as mallow and lemon balm.
Closes with a pleasant chalky, mineral hint.
Taut in the mouth, marked acidity, not much structure and body, sleek and fine, savory finish. It makes you want to like it/drink it 🤓
