I’ve been really into Sicilian wines lately and I’ve been wondering what a good food pairing for the sulphuric terroir would be. last night i found one that I thought worked particularly well: Whipped cream and berries. The cream takes the edge off the volcanic funk and the sour berries tighten up the big yellow fruit flavors. Does anyone else have good ideas for Sicilian wine? I’d love to hear them.
