Really cool space, I do hope that’s not the front door though, that’d be really awkward. Otherwise, I’d love to live there after a little bit of reno.

Converted churches never look right.

Horrendously weird and off. Table looking lonely and awkward in the corner. Two chairs in the other corner competing for which setup can be even more awkward. Whatever is happening in the lower left hand corner I have no clue. And then marshmallows hanging front he sky inexplicably. Just … no. This needs to be torn apart and rethought.

It was for sale not too long ago [here](https://www.themodernhouse.com/past-sales/chapel-house/)… sold on Dec 2020 for £1.15m – that’s quite the price increase they’re trying considering they’ve not done much to it internally…

It’s interesting but the proportions are super weird imo. That structure just isn’t designed to be a residential space.

[Much more pics and information, including floorplans](https://inigo.com/sales-list/chapel-house). [The exterior is especially gorgeous](https://i.imgur.com/IRjsVhB.jpg), and you can see the manse(house occupied by a minister of a Presbyterian church) next to it.
