How would you ever possibly clean those walls, especially in such a humid locale where dust quickly becomes sticky muck?

Ya know, that wouldn’t be such a bad treatment for a sun porch. Though yeah, cleaning it would require me to bring the air compressor in and blasting it every now and then. I think it’s worth it.

This is the opposite of room porn. Hate the overuse of that green & hate the animal skin print rugs.

Love the look but that lattice is a disaster!

I actually like this. I mean, I wouldn’t put it in my house, but in someone else’s house I like it. I like rooms that are decorated with bright, saturated colours, and I like the addition of black and white floors.
The only criticism is that there needs to be some pops of a contrasting accent colour, the orange/tan/yellow in this room isn’t enough. Also, I would take the lattice off the wall on the left and just have a plain painted wall. I like the use of it to make a plain wall a bit more textured and add a bit of interest, but doing every wall in the room is too much visual clutter. The door and windows on the left are enough of a feature in that wall that they don’t need to put the lattice on it as well.

Somehow I think this all comes together even though under scrutiny I don’t like *any* of the individual constituents.

LOVE this bold style (except for the Zebra). Do you mind sharing this at r/AmateurInteriorDesign?

I love that dining chair near the window

I like the overpowering green but the other colors feel mismatched. Dark green railing and lamp, golden brown chair, white couch and tables. It would look more cohesive with the green walls and one other color

I actually love it. Could I live in that space? Probably not. But drop it into NOLA this vibe is perfect

Is it normal for a staircase to protrude out into the door frame and have 1 door panel blocked by the steps?
ResearchMother1408
Love it, although I would have only done one wall in that green, as an accent. And for everyone fussing about the dusty lattice, it’s actually not that hard – use an extension hose & soft brush attachment on a good vacuum & it’s done.

The lattice work looks like hell to dust.
Very very green. I do like it though.

A dream room in my dream city.
