When I was a kid in the 80s this hotel was derelict and in sad shape. Most of the original fixtures were looted, the stained glass was destroyed. They restored it beautifully. During an HVAC retrofit about 15 years ago they discovered the original frescoes in the restaurant and restored them as well.

Late nights in high school we used to wander through these halls and sneak into the 2nd floor pool for middle of the night swims. It was glorious!

Beautiful
You can really tell every bit of this room was designed by a pro. Those elegant light fixtures really accent the curves of the ceiling.
