Don’t hang your knives upside down, if they fall you can easily snap the tip off.

You may consider putting the knives elsewhere. I used to keep little glass spice jars on a magnetic strip by my stove but in a few months they were covered in oil and icky stuff from the stove. I guess knives will get more regular use and this may not be an issue for you.

Behind the stove isn’t really where you need the knives, since you shouldn’t be using knives in pans on the stove. The stove also sends up clouds of grease. Also, in the future, if you’re going to post to a sub for kitchen porn, you might al least give the stove a wipe down first. Dirty kitchen always looks bad no matter how beautiful the appliance would be clean.
