[More pics and information](https://www.architecturaldigest.com/gallery/step-inside-a-midcentury-los-angeles-home-thats-steeped-in-family-history). [Designer Meghan Eisenberg’s website with some more pics](https://www.meghaneisenberg.com/mar-vista). This is the home of designer Meghan Eisenberg and it was originally designed by her late grandfather (midcentury architect [Donald G. Park](https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/latimes/name/donald-park-obituary?id=7313649)) in 1950 while he was still a student at the USC School of Architecture.
    > “He built it with the help of my great-grandfather, who was a carpenter, with the hope of accommodating his young family: my grandmother, Mary Ann, and their two kids—my mom and uncle.”

This is a really elegant, comfortable home.

The designer nailed cozy with clean lines, they really did an excellent job. I love mid century homes but it takes a careful balance of textures and furniture pieces to make them pop. It’s a solid, graceful property.

They couldn’t hang the cabinet doors evenly? Those pulls at different heights are pushing my buttons, lol

The three bedroom suites at Disney resort aulani on Oahu has some nicely done green bathrooms. Almost like you’re showering in a matte rain forest.

This color scheme is something my wife has has wanted to do once we have a house of our own.

This is something I would rip out if it were in a house i bought. That green tile shower anyway. Gross.

I like this a lot, love the color scheme

This is the exact shade of green that I’ve been wanting to paint my room. It’s so cosy.

I really love that the tile continues outside of the shower. I really love the feel of cool tile beneath my feet❤️

mmm, I love it, AND I would love some white in there as those green doors are a lot. A white towel would add some fresh clean, but that is personal taste. I would take it in a heartbeat.

Why the fuck are there books on a shelf in a bathroom. Why does every design have to have a fucking bookshelf with books. We all know nobody is reading those. And they’re going to get nasty with the humidity. It doesn’t look intelligent to have books it just looks affected.

All the green is cool. The knick-knacks on the shelves just look silly.

What a bold bathroom. I just shared this with a small design community, hope that’s ok.

Also, this bathroom seems a bit too dark for my taste. I would add some lighter shades, maybe with the flooring.

Love the monochrome. Not crazy about the uneven knobs.

I like the idea – and the look – But.

The shower looks dirty. The tile colour makes it look like there’s been a dirty water leak down the wall and onto the floor.

The other thing that stops me from doing this at home, is the thought of cleaning all that grout.

It’s refreshing to see dark themed design done right from time to time, it contrasts the bright airy designs that we often see.
