We just tore this small wall out next to the stove. 6′ peninsula where the table is. Wondering. What u should do with the cabinets. Close it off flat or put a corner unit in or something neat and different? Thanks

If it’s in your budget I would add a few more cabinets and a counter top with a few bar stools

Slam piece of wood over and paint it the same color and hang two cast iron pans right there.

Maybe some open floating shelves? Regular cabinets would be hard to reach (speaking as a short person) so you could have interesting objects or larger items showing.

This made me laugh as I literally have a folding table in the exact same spot in my kitchen. I wasn’t as smart as you to put it on crates to get it counter height!
