Current colors are from Benjamin Moore the cabinets are steel wool and the island is iron mountain

I like it. You could add some white stone countertops in place of the wood and it would brighten things up. We have black cabinets and white granite countertops with grey painted walls. Same colour scheme just with a little more black but the contrasting countertops are nice.

I would go white on the island to balance the grey.

I agree with the lighter color (white) on the island. I think it would look incredible that way. Matching the cabinets, it gets a bit lost. And I love the coordinating shelves above the sink! That’s a fantastic idea!

Yes, light on the upper cabinet would also look nice

Light everything else, dark island. Or dark all lowers and light uppers and light island. Jmo.

    Builder here.
We just finished a kitchen with similar cabinet color. They did the same cabinet colors on both the island and walls, but balanced it with a concrete looking quartz in honed. Very classy.

I would do a white island for a better flow with the white fridge. Also white walls / backsplash to make the gray cabinets pop out.

I think white would be too light tbh. But that’s just my opinion. I feel like white with gray marble top would look better.

I would personally pick a different colour for something. Cupboards, island, wall, vent hood – all grey!

I would leave it as is. I think the mismatched cabinet trend today is the avocado kitchen of the 70s.
