    I can’t put my finger on exactly why I don’t like this. It’s like it wants to be art deco, and I love art deco, but it’s not pulling it off. The rug and fake plants look cheap. The geometric design on the tables against the geometric wall design is an ill considered choice.

    Good for them if they love it but to me it gets worse the more you look at it. Just because you have money it doesn’t mean you have good taste. It looks so clinical and uninviting – and cold.

    I kinda hate it….. the marble floor could have been the statement piece, the black or gold accents could have been the statement piece, the heavy dark wood could have been the statement piece, the weird hexagonal panel could have been the (ill advised) statement piece. But instead they just said “yes” to all of these and it looks like someone threw up in 5 different styles.
