This room is hideous. The wall looks like cheap laminate, the light fitting is just ugly, the marble look whatever behind the bath is indescribable and the bath itself has me lost for words, I won’t even mention the floor.

If you change that striped wallcovering to a solid color and changed the style of the tub, the room would be much nicer. The tub’s style and color scheme clashes with its surroundings. These changes would allow you to keep the most period pieces.
But really, just start over. In my opinion, it would be easier.
