Beautiful, but looks very inconvenient. Also, I highly approve of your user name. 😁
Edit: If you disagree with me, tell me why. Let’s have a conversation.

The room reminds me of Edward Cullen’s room

I mean, is there any affordable way to achieve this? Is this look destined only for the wealthy?

Devoid of life, would be impossible to get comfortable in because it lacks soul, very unwelcoming – not even a pretentious mood or trendy esthetic to save it, sad space.

Except for the windows everything about this room is bad

Great windows! Would almost be a shame if you’d sit with your back to it. Oh wait.

Honestly, I don’t like the chairs. They had them at my old job, and they aren’t that good to sit in, they don’t look that good, and they weigh an absolute ton. 5/10

Unusable bookshelves, uncomfortable couch, mostly uncomfortable chairs, a decorative piano and guitar, window you can’t cover, a oversized lamp, a abstract painting that means nothing to the owner.

Does it bother anyone else when furniture is only partially on a rug?
I just feel like if you have the choice, furniture should either have a rug under it or it shouldn’t have a rug under it. 2 legs on the rug and 2 legs off the rug just makes me wonder why you didn’t get a different sized rug.
Other than that though, it does look nice. I like the openness and how bright the natural lighting is. I don’t have enough books to fill those shelves, but between books, dvds (yeah, I still have ’em) and various other objects that are only useful for putting on a shelf and lookin’ at, I think I could make use of the space. With that many shelves to put things on, I could have way more room for activities.

Nice way to sun fade the spines of your book collection. Also, lots of fun having to fetch and climb a ladder to access your books, that is, unless they are merely a decorative element. So much for form following function. Not impressed.

Looks like it could’ve been a nice room before they started decorating and putting the furniture/art/etc in it.
