“Patrons are asked to please avoid traveling between floors with drinks and/or soup. Mercí – the Staff”

That ivy is dusty af. If you’re gonna have plants in a restaurant, don’t do plastic. If you don’t have good daylighting, oh well. Without regular cleaning, plastic plants are like a magnet to dust and dander and spider webs love em.

I enjoyed my visit to Pink Mamma this summer!

How do you make sure all the pictures go together and don’t clash?

I’ve been there! The actual dining room is gorgeous, this is just the stairs leading up to it. I was lucky to get into the room because they only took people with reservations *and* I lined up early.

  6. I read this as “restroom” and was like, “why the hell would you have a restroom open to a staircase?”

  7. I love that restaurant, I go there every time I go to Paris

I would LOVE to visit Paris one day; however, (1) I don’t speak French, and (2) I have read the Parisians are not that nice to Americans.

The Pink Mamma has an excellent aesthetic.

    With that being said:

Food is average at best. When they used to have an entire steak grill it was worth going once in a while, but there was a fire that burnt the 2nd floor and they scrapped the entire steakhouse element of the restaurant. Pizza is shitty (go to Peppe or Augusto down the road), and pasta is ridiculously overpriced for what you get.

The line outside are groups of Instagrammers blocking the sidewalk, so I have to walk in the busy ass road with my 2 dogs to get to my front door. Staff are a bunch of annoying Italians that are constantly high because they all smoke weed on the bike parking around the corner of the main entrance. They’re loud AF at night and party in the street at 3am on a motherfuckin’ Tuesday (as if they don’t have an entire empty restaurant they can be loud in after it closes at 11pm).

I live next door and dread when people come to visit and want to come here. Happy to let them go by themselves, they always come back a little underwhelmed.

Edit: Oh, and they don’t have proper plumbing, so they use a septic tank system which makes the ground floor and speakeasy sometimes smell like a toilet.

    “Room porn”?

I call this look “Art Vomit”, and it’s not a good one.
