  1. I’m assuming the floor is terracotta & black? It’s a bit hard to be sure. I love both the cabinet colours but find both colours an odd choice with that floor, particularly the two different colours together. Nothing really ties it together except the plates on the wall, even the curtains are a bit wrong, unless the dark tiles are actually blue.

what is the thing at the left that the pots are hanging above? it looks like a stovetop but it seems to have lids with hinges?

There are a few things really frustrating and this could definitely be unpopular opinion..
Im just wondering why there is a smaller built-in cooktop/oven next to the show stopping Agá.
It also doesn’t look like there’s much overhead lighting. My assumption would be that there are a lot of darker areas of this kitchen especially around the range.

  5. Floors like those are hell to keep clean due to the gaps in between the tiles.

I love this. It looks genuine. I think they could have leaned into the hodge podge feel a bit more, though.

The unusually-placed floor flowers aren’t enough to distract me from the gaps and lippage on the tile floor. Looks hard to clean

I get that it’s centered in the window but I don’t like the way the second smaller range is right up against the corner of the counters.

I am a hardwood floor fanatic but I absolutely love this.

An Aga furnace would fit in with this kitchen

Lots of tough choices in terms of function here. I’m assuming the owners kept older cabinets which is totally reasonable, but no toe kick would drive me nuts. Hard to clean floors, no ventilation (a gas cooktop in front of a window???), and open shelving are all also big negatives IMO.

My favourite part of the world.

Being from South Yorkshire we always traveled over the moors going to Whitby as a kid, I still get the same feeling driving over myself as a 30 something.

LOVE the room, but not the floor. Everything else is perfect, though.

I really like this…except for the dark blue island. The color is too close to the black of the floor tile, but not a match. I would have gone with the cream of the walls, or the sage of the cabinets. Black would have been better, but a bit too much contrast.

Nothing quite matches but it’s simply beautiful. I wish I had that eye for decorating. 💜

is it just me or does the bouquet look like a stock image pasted in?

ITT: alot of people that can’t appreciate impefection, complimentary color and would probably be better off sticking to stark white all modern construction.

  20. Nice, gorgeous tiles and the ceiling lights work really well

  21. Love the terra-cotta gotta add that to my design arsenal

This is so cozy, not sure why but I prefer a kitchens like this, opposed to modern steely ones.
