review: alright. i’m so ready to catch hate for this review… not because i hate this wine, but because of how much i love it.
this wine is yellow gatorade. when i poured it, i thought, “wow look at that; electric yellow.” lo and behold: this wine tastes like yellow gatorade.
on the nose, there’s a layered musk of beeswax and waxy showroom fruit; it’s got lily and white flower all the way down. but on the palate: it is yellow gatorade. it is lemon and lime flesh, all puckered lips and sweaty on the sidelines of a soccer match; it’s got the electrolyte salinity. it’s got a touch of dried herbs that skip fleetingly across the palate, but more than anything: this wine is yellow gatorade.
high-acid, low but present tannin. the slightest hint of RS and skin contact leaves it textured like… yellow gatorade.
there is nothing subtle about this wine; this wine tastes like yellow gatorade, and this wine fucking rocks.
