Hello! I’ve been collecting and enjoying wines for three maybe four years now. We are lucky enough to have a fully finished cellar in our house as well! It is a consistent and moderate temperature throughout the year as we live in the North East of the United States. I was curious to hear and see more of your storage solutions. This is my first step toward something more “serious”. We had a wine refrigerator in our kitchen that broke down within three months of purchasing. I have not been able to find anyone willing to fix the refrigerator, so my search there continues. I have been storing most wines in the shipping boxes that they come in. (Don’t worry they don’t last long either way) It has worked fine but I got tired of not being able to see what I want and having to pull each bottle out to remember what it was LOL. Also – curious to see what you think about storing the pop top frizzante/pet nat on its side. Most have a plastic coated cap, so I don’t think any metal should leech into the wine. Those are summer wines and will likely be drank soon enough anyways. I am not doing any serious collecting or serious aging. My oldest bottle in this lot is probably a year old max.

Also also – I realize that I need to order more wine. Been a busy summer!

Temp and light are the only obstacles you really have, so if you think your cellar is good in that respect, all you need to do is get more wine😁
