Hi All,
I’m in the middle of probably the most expensive renovation I’ll do in my home. I’ve been working on a layout with a designer and wanted to see if there was any feedback from the community whether or not there could be any improvements.
Any feedback is much appreciated!

The fridge seems a looooong walk from the sink and cooktop, I would be tempted to move it along that back wall somewhere to get that nice tight cooking triangle going!
Dont have cabinets in the bottom of your kitchen. Drawers on the lower, you’ll not use the back half of the cabinet as you’ll need to bend down and reach into it to get something.
Also just in case but try not to have your cutlery/plate/bowl storage where your prep area is as someone will be emptying the dishwasher as you try prep for dinner. It happens all the time
We just got done remodeling our kitchen. The layout is almost exactly what you have here. I would say the only thing I would change is moving the fridge to where the oven is and get a slide in range/oven. Use the fridge area as more storage.
Looks good to me, if you’re happy go for it. My last kitchen ended up similar to that layout and size and it worked out great for us – but our sink/DW was on that back wall (Run A) like some have suggested to make a smaller triangle.
My only criticism is the sink in the island. Personally I don’t care for sinks in islands, I’d soooo much rather have a big open countertop that can be used for other purposes than washing dishes (or seeing dirty dishes front and center). Our clear island counter was fantastic for a large workspace, laying out items for entertaining, big surface for wrapping presents or doing crafts, etc. [Here’s that kitchen](https://imgur.com/6cBLzes)

I learned so much there.
