    2018 Meinklang Morgen

    Sour cherry & tangerine on the nose. The sour cherry continues on the palate adding some melon and herbs. Acidity is prominent but does not over power the fruit. Enjoyed with a fried steak and cherry pie for dessert. Saint Laurent grape.

    From Meinklang’s Day line along with Tag, Abend and Nacht. They do carbonic maceration and then put the juice in their concrete eggs for 9 months.

    Meinklang is an incredible winemaker, love their stuff. The orange wine is fantastic and their volkan is also incredible. Their pinot might be one of my all-time favourites. Just can’t seem to find it anywhere.
