Found this fossicking about in my closet. Have accumulated too many bottles and forgot about this. It has been kept in correct storage conditions (on its side also— irrelevant with this sort of closure perhaps).
Drinking window? Expecting more acetic acid and bretty character due to Cornelissen not using sulfur at bottling for Contadino.

Some natty stuff can last. If kept perfectly. Has it had any light on it, in the clear glass bottle?

I bought a case of Contadino 2016 years ago and drank the last of the bottles in June of 2020. This should be absolutely singing – chill it ever so slightly and drink it over an hour or two as it warms. This should be an awesome journey – the wine is meaty, wild, and herbaceous, and an absolute treat.

This wine, as long as you stored in correctly, is drinking great right now.
