It’s pretty, but seems more suited for a bathroom.

I love it! Perfect add of fun with the simple design. I’d say if you like it, go for it! Just make sure the colours don’t clash

I love it! Just too much work to clean, I think.

The pattern is a bit busy.. I think if you go for it don’t add any other complicated patterns in the area?

I like the pattern, but it depends on the color of the grout you do. If lighter, the pattern won’t be as prevalent. If darker, it could be too busy.

Re marble though…..not sure I’d recommend it. Marble is beautiful and I installed it on my bathroom floor…..but I regret it. It is a very soft material that doesn’t play well with most caustic household cleaners. Ultimately, it’ll etch and you’ll have to baby it.

I saw a girl on YouTube use that backsplash just recently. Hers turned out great! I can’t comment on how it would last or clean but based on her video I think it would look really nice!

In my opinion, it will be hard to maintain and it carries a high risk of becoming outdated soon. If you really love it, have you considered one single line on top of the doorway or any other discreet place?

It is lovely and if you love it, go for it.

All the comments here are helpful, though.

You will not be able to use lots of kitchen cleaning agents on marble.

It is very taste specific, not neutral. It is something I would consider as an accent, not for the entire backsplash, though.

No. You have slab doors which look more modern. Go with something with more straight lines or a bold geometric

Since kitchen remodels can be expensive & if you’re like me, I am in there a lot & my house is all open, I chose a classic subway tile, but above the stove, we did a herringbone pattern & hung the remaing tile the standard horizontal way. Also, since it is a classic design, it won’t look out of style or dated.

I did the bigger black version for our butlers pantry and the grout lines are pretty large. These look smaller though – I absolutely adore the flower tiles and there’s plenty of space to see them on that wall. If others do hexagons and small tiles, these won’t have more grout than those. Just something to think about sealing-wise (we did 2×6 marble tiles in our kitchen). The marble is gorgeous, both in the flowers and allllll the other options. Good luck!
