I bought a house last year, and am looking to have my kitchen done over, because the one that came with the house is about as old as the house is – needless to say, it looks like a kitchen from the 60s.
I’m stuck in a bit of a conundrum, as I’d love to use the same wood-like LVP that I’ve put down in the rooms to have continuity throughout the house:

My preference for wall color would be white, like my bedrooms (as I was hoping to achieve the Scandi look). My kitchen is dark (north-facing and gets almost no natural light), so I thought an all-white kitchen would look amazing, given the color of the flooring, and the lack of light. I love matte surfaces, but I can’t find any decently priced glossy worktops (quartz and Dekton/Corian/acrylic is just way over my budget) to go with matte cabinets. So now I’m thinking, can both my cabinets and my worktop be matte white (they are slightly different whites), or should I go with gloss cabinets instead? I was looking at Duropal’s EXtreme Matt India White worktop to go with the white cabinets.
Also, if anyone can spot anything that doesn’t seem right about my kitchen plan, please could you let me know?

Have you considered some type of high gloss resin or acrylic type surface? I love the scandi look.
