Hi!
At the moment the kitchen cupboards are a soft dove grey, which I really don’t like! It’s a bit too farmouse for me and I’m looking to modernise it. The floor is a mid/dark grey limestone, and the countertops are quartz. I’m not sure whether to go white on the cupboards, or dark?
I’ve tried to photoshop options, what do you think [https://picbun.com/p/SizN5fYl](https://picbun.com/p/SizN5fYl)
I’m going to use Rustoleum kitchen cupboard paint, has anyone used this?
I have found some tiles for the backsplash that are white with crackle effect and grey flecks, that match the quartz quite well. I will also change the lighting to black chain pendant lights, and add some rustic wood shelving. Will change the handles to antique bronze too 🙂

Uhhh I’ll take your kitchen if you don’t want it

  2. Our kitchen looks similar to yours. I’ve always thought it was a little bland with all-white cabinets and countertops. I like the striking dark cabinets…and my wife liked the look too. Might inspire us to paint our own. 🙂

What’s the finish like on your current cabinets? The doors on ours are *very* smooth and I’m not sure the paint would adhere very well to them.

What about a dark green? I think it needs some color and green would work with everything you have planned. If color is not what you’re going for then I think the dark one works better.

    Definitely not white.

I’d go with the black or maybe consider a putty, something like devol’s mushroom.

For tile, I’d do a zellige tile in a creamy white. Probably 4”x4” set in a stacked pattern.

Lastly, I’d probably swap out that range hood for something less modern. It doesn’t suit the space very well and detracts from the modern traditional vibe you seem to be going for.

Personally, I’d also swap out that
