I’ll ask the obvious: How do you protect yourself from the potential pervert watching you from outside? Is there a protective film on the windows or so? I had a short stay at a place like this once and freaked out the whole time.

  2. Dark brown wood and dark green/grey tiles look nicer together than I’d expected.

Wish I could be in a position where not only could I afford a nice house, but a holiday house on top of that. Sometimes, I see something so beautiful and it makes me happy but then I’m immediately overcome with sadness or frustration that something like that isn’t obtainable for the vast majority of us.

Postman: ‘Well, they’ve not answered, I’ll just put the parcel round the back of the house.’ ‘Oh my god full frontal ballsackery!’

Gonna need some floor heaters or something, room doesn’t look that insulated from the cold

Why are all of the gorgeous interior design subs filled with this amazing stuff out of Australia?! Is this common design practice there? If so I’m obsessed

Ok but hear me out. Showering at night with the lights off next to that window has to be terrifying in the best way.

I like showers with pressure. Would I hate a rain shower like this? I don’t feel like it would do a very good job of getting the suds out of my hair.

I don’t know about owning a house in an area of Australia called Bay of Fires

As a rural-raised Australian… All these comments about peeping toms and perverts are wild!

It’s honestly not even a consideration I’d have before getting naked infront of open windows. There’s no one out there!

  11. I wouldn’t be worried about anyone watching. I’m worried about a permanently wet bathroom. There’s no separation for the shower.

You’re not afraid snakes or spiders coming in while you taking a shower? I heard they’re big in Australia.

Love the range of colors used here. I find it both modern and cozy. Love it. However, won’t the wood be a problem in a damp bathroom?

“So I’m out for a walk around in the outback, minding my own business right? Came across this vacation home, looked like a real stunner. I walked over to check it out a bit more and the guy who owns the house built the bathroom with a fucking bay window. So he’s standing there trying to have a wash and I’m standing on the other side of the window like ‘Oy, Mate! Covah yo’ dick!’. True story”

I came here very excited to see a home full of beer. I was not impressed.

One night you look outside and see a guy in a mask holding a knife

Tasmanian Devil has face pressed against glass as you #2.

Aussies call them Yowie. In Indonesia they are called Orang Pendek. No matter which country you’re in, seeing a Bigfoot staring at you while you’re on the toilet is a scary predicament.

60m² is way enough if properly design 🦾.

  22. hewlett777

Form over function, cleaning that glass would be a pain besides the privacy issues.

  23. RobertRamos

Y’all worried about someone knocking on the glass. I’m more worried about what happens if you get a hair clog…
