Its a little bland / boring.

Not much there but what’s there is clean.
If thats what you like go for it.

any idea from where that light fixture is from?

  3. I always feel like I would really love this type of minimalist decor if I could just hang some huge, colourful artwork.

It’s not my style but I find it really soothing. Love the light fixture.

I would love to see more pics of this! OP would you be able to please share if there are more?

I can see how this would feel like a calming oasis if you’re living in a big, bright, busy city like Tokyo

  7. Fantastic. I would put a bit of greenery in here, but looks fantastic. Do you have any shots of the full bedroom?

It’s so beige and sterile. Like a doctor’s office.

  9. Far-Fly4473

Well it’s very beige I’ll give you that.

    That’s super nice and clean.

I’d also never do that as it feels like it would suck my soul from my body being in it all the time.

A study in muted and bleached/white stained wood tones, that is not quite right for my sensibilities. The expanse of white washed wood floors is too much. The flooring detracts from the beautifully crafted cabinets and furnishings. It feels artificial, almost like a trend pushed to excess. Based upon the photos, limestone flooring (such as used in the bathroom), would have worked very well. Displays of Japanese raku pottery would look spectacular in this space, giving it more life. Perhaps some textured, hand woven, rugs too.

This is absolutely awful…. i get minimalism, but the chairs look umcomfortable, the color palette is strenuously homogeneous and the place is basically bare

Again, I get minimalism, but theres a huge difference between something “pic worthy” and something livable. This is the equivalent to a concrete-jungle-apartment-building suburb

I love it, very modern Japanese minimalist. Reminds me of Muji.

This looks so spacious for Tokyo. Does the table fold up to allow for bedding or other activity?

This looks very soothing but I would throw in some plants and turquoise accents

I taste oatmeal when I look at this. Is that normal?

  17. Those chairs would break under my obese ass but otherwise the place looks chill af
