Tragolargo Blanco 2021 by Finca Casa Balaguer Valencia, Spain Bought in Discovery Wines, NYC, $22 Imported by Zev Rovine Selections The first time that I had a Tragolargo was in a bar called Skin Contact in New York City and I adored it. Up until recently, the Tagolargo Blanco was a 70% Moscatel de Alejandria and 30% Malvasia split. The 2021 cuvée sees a 50/50 split of the two grapes, which renders a floral, hazy wine with notes of light peach, lemon, buttercups, and a hint of rubber. I really wish I could taste the 70/30 and 50/50 split side by side. Maybe someday!

Wow, two super floral grapes together.

This is my current go to for summer, ideal for sitting in a park under a tree.
Cheap (can be purchased in London for £15), interesting yet approachable and most importantly, gluggable.

If you see a bottle grab it, you can’t go wrong.
