We are remodeling our kitchen as we speak. Took us over a month just to pick a backsplash to tie in our cabinets, floor and counter tops. So frustrating. We went with a multi color linear tile and it ties all three in. So frustrating. I wanted subway tiles but could not find anything to bring it all together. Looks like you found a soft color to break up the counters and cabinets while blending them together. Enjoy it.

All very nice but all I can think is beige, white and gray. It’s like an Eddie Bauer kitchen. I hope you have some plans for a pop of color

Yeah this tracks timeless and tasteful to me.

Did you hire someone to put in the recessed lights? Did you put them in?

Yes, it is center over the range.
It is 3 in a line on one circuit, and 2 perpendicular for the peninsula circuit.
No shadows on the counter work areas, and that corner is the darkest. It works for us.

You’ll be so happy you chose neutral in 10 years. Have your fun with patterns via dishes and towels, this is very pretty and timeless.

Keep that backsplash simple. No mosaics

Try putting together a herringbone pattern in the backsplash. I think it will look beautiful against that wood.

It’s beautifully understated and timeless. Love it.

Looks great! May I ask what brand and color cabinet you went with? We have been looking for something similar but haven’t had much luck.

It might just be my style but I would suggest adding blue somehow maybe a border. Very cool kitchen

I think it’s beautiful. I love a nice clean, classic backsplash.

That looks more expensive than a basic subway tile. I would suggest going with a basic subway tile, probably cheaper, would have less grout to clean and the aesthetic would be about the same. Keep in mind I do not know the cost of your tile, it may not be much more. I just think a year from now a rectangular white tile is a rectangular white tile. I also wonder if the wavy tile could go out of style and date the kitchen.

Might want to match a piece of quarter round and put it on the back side of the peninsula.
