The giant sofa thing always tickles me. Like do they really have twenty guests over and they all sit in a row along these huge sofas?
It’s like when a private house has a terrace with three or four table and chair sets. Do the family not get on??

I also hate the large palm in the roof cutout outside. I get what they’re going for, but to me it doesn’t work with that tree.

Clear up those chairs for some Occulus game nights, or maybe those tables if there’s enough space and maybe even have a small fire pit somewhere outside.

I’m a kitchen guy and even though I have to assume whoever owns a place like this doesn’t do a whole lot of cooking for themselves, it’s an interesting, surprisingly small setup. I’m a big advocate for the cooktop in the island setup and we went for that ourselves, and I’m 85% sure we’ve got the same faucet too. I like the openness if it weren’t for those ceiling “range hoods” being pretty useless.
Also the off-centre TV is bugging me.
Otherwise I kinda love the whole thing.
