Might be the camera angle but the before photo looks like the counter angled back in an odd way. This looks so much better. Also – LOVE the copper penny ceiling! Copper is such a warm metal and the pennies make it so interesting. With the butcher block and brick, you have a welcoming, inviting vibe to your kitchen.

How long did the ceiling take? Stunning! I’ve only seen that treatment on a floor and can’t imagine doing it on a ceiling!
