So there’s a lot going on in the bottle, wow. I tried it down at Dry Dock in Brooklyn. It was cold and had been open for about 20 minutes.
Red and white co-ferment, 75% Blaufrankish/25% gewustraminer. It’s definitely got some funk on the nose, but some light fruit too. Really refreshing, tart, and some natural funky flavors in the background. This is an amazing wine to round out the summer now that the sun is setting a bit earlier and the nights are a bit cooler. Really fantastic stuff.

That’s a nutty blend of grapes. Did you think that the Blaufrankisch keep the acidity up for Gewurtz lack of it? Sounds fun tbh.
