100% Friuliano (Tocaj), 3-4 months skin contact and passage in oak barrels for 40months. In front of the bottle that introduced me to the world of natural wines, intriguing me… I always feel excitement and respect. Incredibly young, still very fresh, no oxidation, not too long in the sip, with the tannins now very delicate, subtle. Hints of candied orange and apricot, pink grapefruit, fruit under spirits and a slight note of nail varnish, then saffron and dried almond and cashews. A unique interpretation of this varietal, recognizable with eyes closed!

Cool wines. Really love these but at times it seems like a waste of great terroir and grapes. Doesn’t give any sense of place or varietal.
