Looks great. Nice solution as I’m not sure exactly what else you could do in a 400 s.f. space aside from a Murphy bed

I have nothing additional to comment, I just really wanted to highlight that fact.

Absolutely lovely

That’s 37m², for those of us who aren’t brexit geezers. That sounds like a nightmare to be honest, but at least it looks pretty.

I love this. Clean, cheerful, cozy, what else do you need?

Love this corner! Would enjoy seeing the rest of the space.

Can I just say, I like your shelf decor. That is my nemesis.
stephjaguar17
Cute!
Over_Effective8407
I like it – I feel like it needs some interesting wallpaper though or an accent color by the bed with maybe some thin track lighting . but it looks cozy
Kicking_Around
Is the 400 sq ft inclusive of the loft?
snazztasticmatt
Is “mezzanine bedroom” really what they’re saying instead of “loft” these days?
dungeon_sketch
That’s not a bedroom that’s a shelf.

It’s sad and cute at the same time. Like a puppy sitting out in the rain all alone.

I love it 😍

You’ll know if pan on stove is on fire when flames reach your azz in bed.

Fire waiting to happen

I bet the rent is a tonne.
Catwearingtrousers
I’m bothered by the pillows on the stools. Why wouldn’t you just buy padded stools? Or at least buy some of those cushions that tie on.
ironwilledf-up
I’m not sure I’d consider having my bed in my kitchen room porn, I bet they pay well over a grand a month in rent alone to live in that shoebox. Is this even building regs legal? Like we can’t have a bathroom plug but we can have a cooker under the bed?
Quinquilharia
oh, that is so good

Having your bed directly above your kitchen is bad for air quality, smell, noise
jackiebee66
They have more counter space than we do!

Gove is a full tour please
uju_rabbit
This kitchen has more counter and storage space than 95% of houses in my country 🙃 looks like a dream to me
A_Light_Spark
…why are so many people liking this? The kitchen has no vent, which is already discussed. Unless all you do is boil water, otherwise the beddings are gonna smell.
On top of that, the entire loft(?) space looks haphazardly built. The structure looks questionable at best, and the exposed wood means all the dust would get dropped onto the kitchen space below. And I can say this because I lived in a similarly industrial designed apartment with “two levels” before. And I always find hair and other debris on the lower level…
All that is already ignoring how cramped that space looks. How is this so popular?

Don’t just eat breakfast in bed, make it too!
blonderaider21
It’s cute, but as a tall person I’d hate having to use that every day

It’s brighter than my home!!

For only 5000 bucks rent per month.
teixeirafael
There’s no 400 square feet.

Yeah, no. I’m 6’2” and this makes me claustrophobic. I’m not a fan of no vent hood, my bed catching fire if i make a frying accident, and all that cluttered shit on an already nonexistent countertop. I’ve lived in a 10×12 studio apartment and at that point you make due with a microwave and a foreman grill.
paulmclaughlin
That’s a bed, not a mezzanine bedroom.

This is fascinating. I want to see more.
Squiggles87
A bed above an oven without an extractor fan? The bedding would stink within a day.
dardy_arty
“mezzanine bedroom” you mean a bunk bed, that’s not a room
RainaElf
compact? that’s a fairly normal apartment kitchen.

Is that photo of Harry and Meghan real or shopped in?

Why is there a pic of Harry and Meghan on the wall lol

Nicely done. Efficiency and design. Kudos.
Looks cozy! How does the bed smell, though?
