Hi, has anyone been to any of the RAW WINE natural wine fairs?
The fairs are held in London, Berlin, New York, Montreal, Los Angeles, and it was just held for the first time in Toronto a few days ago. I tried a few wines — including this FREI.KÖRPER.KULTUR WEISS
from biodynamic winery DB Schmitt in Rheinhessen, Germany — and went to a few seminars, which were interesting ([my recap here](https://naturallywine.substack.com/p/raw-wine-toronto)).
Have you been to any? Do you like them for the tastings, meeting the producers, being among like minded people, or something else? Have you tried the wine in the photo? Let me know in the comments!

Been to every single fair in Los Angeles. Always have a good time and enjoy meeting the producers and talking to like minded people, even creating possible business relationships. It can get overwhelming at times and you definitely get palette fatigue after awhile but overall it’s a great time. As for the wine in the photo, we didn’t try Schmitt as they are relatively easier to find in bottle shops in either San Diego or Los Angeles. Some cuvees are going to be more popular than others, but generally we stick to trying producers that don’t have the biggest foothold in the market, at least as of yet. Schmitt do make great wines though.
I’ve never been but I love DB schmitt wines !!
